Beach Umbrellas
After a dip in the wide open sea or after playing on the shore, resting on the sand could be
prefect and necessary. A beach umbrella would be able to keep you cool in the shade and would give you some form of shelter to be able to sip a
cold beverage and take in the beauty of the ocean. Here are some pointers in buying the best beach umbrella to keep you in cool in the heat of
the sun.
1. Try to find beach umbrellas that offer a 30 or more SPF or sun protection factor so that you would be well protected from the damaging and
harmful UV rays of the sun as you do some lounging and relaxing. A low SPF of only 2 to 11 would offer little protection, an SPF of 12 to 29
offers average protection and an SPF of 30 or more would definitely make sure that you are highly and adequately protected.
2. Try to look for bargain deals. Try to buy a beach umbrella during off season and you would realize that you could save a lot or perhaps
even buy a higher model or a better kind.
3. Decide as to which material you want your beach umbrella to be made of. If you think that you would be using it for some time, then you
could spend a bit more on a beach umbrella made with fabric that is of superior quality and durability. You could probably choose fabrics which
would be resistant to mildew and fading. There are also beach umbrellas which are made from vinyl and are cheaper. You could opt to go for the
latter kind of material if you are not planning to use your beach umbrella frequently or for a long time.
4. Pick one with a tilting pole. If you would be choosing a beach umbrella that has this feature, you would be able to move your beach
umbrella so that you would be able to stay in the shade instead of packing your stuff and changing your position just to get in the shade.
5. Try to go for a beach umbrella that has a carrying case for convenience and great portability, enabling you to carry more stuff such as
towels, coolers and other things that you need as well.
